G2 Esports have officially announced the signing of Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu, in what is already being described as one of the most significant roster moves in Rainbow Six Siege history.
The announcement comes just 24 hours after G2 confirmed the acquisition of Benjamin "Benjamaster" Dereli, signaling an aggressive rebuild ahead of the BLAST R6 2026–2027 season.
Shaiiko’s move follows reports from SiegeGG on February 23, 2026, which revealed that he had been benched by Team Falcons while the organization explored transfer offers. His departure coincides with Falcons confirming Marc "jume" Steinmann as his replacement. Meanwhile, Benjamaster entered free agency after Spacestation Gaming opted to release its entire Rainbow Six Siege roster.
From a competitive and commercial standpoint, Shaiiko’s signing is monumental. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the game’s history, he is currently the highest-earning player in Rainbow Six Siege, with career prize winnings approaching $1 million. His addition not only elevates G2’s firepower but also strengthens their global brand appeal.
Over the course of his career, Shaiiko has built an elite résumé. Across stints with Team BDS and Team Falcons, he secured multiple international titles, including two Gamers8 championships, the Esports World Cup 2024, and the Six Jönköping Major. He also reached the grand final of the Six Invitational 2025 and most recently powered Falcons to a third-place finish at the Six Invitational 2026, where he led the team with a 1.08 rating.
With the arrivals of Shaiiko and Benjamaster, G2 now boasts a star-studded roster that already features Zack "Stompn" Lamb alongside Six Invitational 2023 champions Jack "Doki" Robertson and Karl "Alem4o" Zarth.
On paper, this lineup positions G2 Esports as arguably the most stacked roster ever assembled in Rainbow Six Siege, setting the stage for a highly anticipated season as they aim to dominate the global competitive landscape.
