The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has officially launched its 2026 Club Partner Program, selecting 40 top global esports organizations for a $20 million funding initiative ahead of EWC 2026 in Riyadh.
Program Details
Clubs like 100 Thieves, 9z Globant, All Gamers, Cloud9, Fnatic, FURIA, G2 Esports, and others receive six-figure base funding plus performance bonuses for fan growth, content campaigns, and EWC activations—though qualification remains merit-based. Eight top EWC 2025 finishers (Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Vitality, etc.) got direct invites; the rest filled via open applications from 200+ submissions.
Strategic Goals
Hans Jagnow, EWCF Director of Clubs, emphasized expanding into high-growth markets like LATAM, India, Turkey, and SEA: "This unites fans across ecosystems and builds sustainable orgs." In 2025, 19 new clubs joined 21 returnees, proving the program's pull.
